I. Yogyakarta. Mbuluk Beach is a small beach which is characterised by a rocky substrate along the coastal area and overgrown with macroalgae. This research aims to study the diversity of macroalgae in the intertidal zone of Mbuluk Beach and determine the physicochemical parameters that influence their distribution and diversity. This research was conducted on October 21st, 2023. The method used was systematic sampling for collecting samples and directly measuring physicochemical parameters. The calculated index of species diversity used is Shannon-Wiener’s formula. The result showed that seventeen species of macroalgae were identified, consisting of six species from Chlorophyta, two species from Phaeophyta, and nine species from Rhodophyta. The macroalgal diversity index in the intertidal zone of Mbuluk Beach is 1.9, which means that the level of species diversity is moderate. The type of substrate which is mostly rocky substrate and the physicochemical parameters obtained, including air temperature (22°C), water temperature (21.3°C), pH (7.4), salinity (35.1 ppt), light intensity (5219.5 Lux), characterized the environmental conditions in which the identified macroalgae species were present in the intertidal zone of Mbuluk beach
Renada Oktavia, Arli Siti Nurlaila, Renisha Windy Puspita Sari, Alifia Nur Hidayah, Muhammad Ariq Alfito, Indira Amani Kurniawan, Valeria Nawang Riris Lintang Kaloka, Abdul Razaq Chasani Copyright (c) 2025 AQUACOASTMARINE: Journal of Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://talenta.usu.ac.id/aquacoastmarine/article/view/19134 Wed, 30 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700 A review of the enzymes utilization in the feed for indigenous Indonesian fish https://talenta.usu.ac.id/aquacoastmarine/article/view/20246
Enzymes play a vital role in improving nutrient absorption and digestion efficiency in fish feed, particularly for indigenous Indonesian fish species. This review aimed to comprehensively evaluate the current state of enzyme utilization in feed for native Indonesian fish, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and potential contributions to the advancement of sustainable aquaculture. It examined the role of endogenous enzymes and various exogenous enzymes, such as protease, lipase, phytase, Non-Starch Polysaccharides (NSP) enzymes, and multi-carbohydrase complexes, in enhancing feed efficiency and fish growth. The integration of these enzymes into feed formulations offers significant advantages in boosting growth performance, optimizing feed conversion efficiency, and promoting environmental sustainability. Additionally, this review discussed the potential benefits and challenges associated with enzyme application in fish feed. Looking ahead, the development of enzyme utilization in aquafeed holds great promise for enhancing the sustainability, efficiency, and productivity of the aquaculture sector. This review provides valuable insights into the potential of enzyme supplementation to maximize feed utilization for native Indonesian fish species, outlining both its advantages and challenges, while also exploring its future prospects in driving cost-effective and eco-friendly aquaculture practices.
Wahyu Haryati Maser, Ahmad Muhtadi, Ajuan Ritonga, Della Almira, Febriyanti Panjaitan, Nurmala Sari, Ries Ruth Rytond Sinurat, Natasyha Pebrina Br Sembiring Kembaren, Theresia Widi Astuti Purba, David Nababan, Ella Andari, Muhamad Haikal Firyaldi Harahap, Rihan Addilah Pasaribu Copyright (c) 2025 AQUACOASTMARINE: Journal of Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://talenta.usu.ac.id/aquacoastmarine/article/view/20246 Tue, 29 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Pengaruh Pengkayaan Nutrisi Cacing Sutra (Tubifex sp.) dengan Tepung Wortel (Daucus carota) dan Bit (Beta vulgaris) Terhadap Kualitas Warna Ikan Cupang (Betta sp.) https://talenta.usu.ac.id/aquacoastmarine/article/view/17347

RhegitaMaulludda Gita, Eric Armando, Annisa Novita Copyright (c) 2025 AQUACOASTMARINE: Journal of Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://talenta.usu.ac.id/aquacoastmarine/article/view/17347 Tue, 29 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0700
