Through a Political Ecology approach, this paper highlights how power and political dynamics shape interactions between humans and the environment and influence policies and practices that impact the exploitation of natural resources. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through literature study. The development of IKN is not only influenced by political decisions that often ignore environmental aspects but also by the constellation of government that tends to be authoritarian and unconstitutional. This is reflected in the process of drafting the IKN law, which invited various polemics and questioned its legality. In the end, IKN development has the potential to damage the environment and deepen social injustice due to political practices that are not inclusive and democratic.
2024-09-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Langgas: Jurnal Studi Pembangunanhttps://talenta.usu.ac.id/jlpsp/article/view/16364The Dual Role of Women in Employment in the Sinah Kasih Village Oil Palm Plantation2024-08-18T22:46:27+07:00Widisyah Putriwidiputri425@gmail.comRahman Malikrmalik20@usu.ac.idAchmad Hidirachmad.hidir@lecturer.unri.ac.id
Indonesia is the countries with the largest palm oil producer in the world. Oil palm plants are one of the plantation crops that produce vegetable oil, which has become Indonesia's main and superior agricultural commodity.
2024-09-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Langgas: Jurnal Studi Pembangunan
