Pemetaan Karakteristik Lahan Kopi Arabika di Kecamatan Pangaribuan dan Simangumban

Produksi kopi Arabika tergolong rendah sehingga evaluasi kesesuaian lahan perlu dilakukan di
Kecamatan Pangaribuan dan Simangumban. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kelas
kesesuaian lahan dengan metode survei. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dan data
dicocokkan dengan tabel karakteristik lahan tanaman kopi Arabika. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
kelas kesesuaian lahan SPL 1, 2, dan 3 tergolong sesuai marginal (S3) dengan faktor pembatas berupa
ketersediaan air, media perakaran dan retensi hara. Kelas kesesuaian lahan potensial SPL 1, 2 dan 3
tergolong sesuai marginal dengan faktor pembatas berupa media perakaran.
