Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the NPK Mutiara 16-16-16 fertilizer dose and the chicken manure fertilizer dose, as well as the interaction of the two treatments on the growth and yield of mini elephant grass plants (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott)." The research was carried out in Pematang Tengah Village, Pematang Jaya District, Langkat Regency, from April to June 2021. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with a factorial pattern consisting of 2 factors, namely the NPK fertilizer dosage factor which consisted of 4 levels, namely: M0= Control (0 gr/polybag), M1= 150 kg/Ha (1.1 gr/polybag), M2= 250 kg/Ha (1.9 gr/polybag), and M3= 350 kg/Ha (2, 7 gr/polybag). The chicken manure factor (K) consists of 4 levels, namely, K0= Control (0 gr/polybag), K1= 7.5 tonnes/ha (57 gr/polybag), K2= 15 tonnes/ha (113 gr/ polybag), and K3= 22.5 tonnes/ha (169 gr/polybag). The parameters observed in this research were plant height (cm), number of tillers (tuna), number of leaves (strands), leaf length (cm), fresh plant weight (gr), and dry weight (gr).
