Utilization of goat urine fermented with EM4 as organic fertilizer can improve productivity of legumes Stylosanthes guianensis and Arachis pintoi. The study was conducted in the field of Laboratory Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara from June to November 2017, using a randomized block design with 2 factors. The first factor was type of legume (S. guianensis and A. pintoi) and the second factor was fertilizer dose (0, 100, 150, 200, 250 ml/polybag). The variables observed were plant height, fresh weight production and dry matter production. The variables observed were plant height, fresh weight production, and dry matter production. The results showed that increasing dose fermented goat urine give the very real result (P<0.01) to increased plant height, fresh weight production and dry matter production and the productivity S. guianensis highter than A. pintoi. Increasing dose fermented goat urine can increased on productivity of S. guianensis and A. pintoi.
Pemanfaatan urin kambing yang difermentasi dengan EM4 sebagai pupuk organik dapat meningkatkan produktivitas legum stylo (Stylosanthes guianensis) dan kacang pintoi (Arachis pintoi). Penelitian dilakukan di lapang Laboratorium Ilmu Hewan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara dari Juni hingga November 2017, menggunakan menggunakan Rancangan acak kelompok faktorial yang dibagi dalam 2 faktor yaitu jenis legum stylo (S. guianensis) dan kacang pintoi (A. pintoi), dan jenis dosis pemupukan (0, 100, 150, 200, 250 ml/polybag). Peubah yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, produksi berat segar dan produksi berat kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dosis urin kambing fermentasi memberikan hasil yang sangat nyata (P <0,01) terhadap peningkatan tinggi tanaman, produksi bobot segar dan produksi bahan kering dan produktivitas produktivitas stylo (S. guianensis) lebih tinggi daripada kacang pintoi (A. pintoi) Peningkatan dosis urine kambing fermentasi dapat meningkatkan produktivitas B. humidicola dan D. milanjiana.
