Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the infiltration capacity in 4 land use types in the Sei
Silau Barat village, Setia Janji sub-district, district of Asahan. Coordinate on settlement area of

sandy clay, organic matter content was 0,54%, rate of water was 30,61%, bulk density was

m/s (medium). At corps of palawija, its texture was sandy clay loam, organic matter

m/s (quickly). At palm
oil estate, its texture was sandy clay loam, organic matter content was 0,84%, rate of water was

m/s (medium). And at rubber estate, its texture was sandy

m/s (very slow).

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kapasitas infiltrasi pada 4 jenis penggunaan lahan di Desa Sei Silau Barat Kecamatan Setia Janji Kabupaten Asahan. Titik koordinat lahan pemukiman 99 o 29’40†N 2 o 56’24†E dan 99 o 29’50†N dan 2 o 56’18†E, pada lahan palawija titik koordinat 99 o 31’10†N 2 o 56’56†E dan 99 o 30’50†N 2 o 56’38†E , pada perkebunan sawit titik koordinat 99 o 30’30†N 2 o 57’16†E dan 99 o 30’20†N 2 o 56’52†E, dan pada perkebunan karet titik koordinat 99 o 30’20†N 2 o 56’52†E dan 99 o 30’10†N 2 o 55’58†E. Hasil analisis tanah pada lahan pemukiman diperoleh tekstur lempung berpasir, bahan organik 0,54%, kadar air 30,61%, bulk density 1,05 g/cm 3 , particle density 2,19 g/cm 3 , porositas 51,81% dengan kapasitas infiltrasi 7,8 x 10 -6 m/s (sedang). Pada lahan palawija diperoleh tekstur lempung liat berpasir, bahan organik 1,68%, kadar air 50,52%, bulk density 1,01 g/cm 3 , particle density 2,04 g/cm 3 , porositas 50% dengan kapsitas infiltrasi 37 x 10 -6 m/s (cepat). Pada lahan kebun kelapa sawit diperoleh tekstur lempung liat berpasir, bahan organik 0,84%, kadar air 27,69%, bulk density 1,14 g/cm 3 , particle deensity 2,28 g/cm 3 , porositas 49,09% dengan kapasitas infiltrasi 8,4 x 10 -6 m/s (sedang). Dan pada lahan kebun karet diperoleh tekstur lempung liat berpasir, bahan organik 1,14%, kadar air 38,71%, bulk density 1,1 g/cm 3 , particle densit 2,24 g/cm 3 , porositas 50,91% dengan kapasitas infiltrasi 0,6 x 10 -6 m/s (sangat lambat).
