Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi DuaVarietas Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaeaL.) terhadapWaktu AplikasiPupuk Kandang Sapi.Penelitian dilakukan di lahan penduduk di Binjai pada November2015 sampai April 2016.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok, dengan dua perlakuan, yakni perlakuan pertama V1(VarietasHypoma 2) dan V2(Varietas Bima), dan perlakuan kedua yakni T0 (tanpa pemberian pupuk), T1 (waktu aplikasi pupuk kandang sapi 1 minggu sebelum tanam), T2 (3minggu sebelum tanam), danT3 (5 minggu sebelum tanam). Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, jumlah bunga yang terbentuk,bobot 100 biji, dan jumlah ginofor yang tidak jadi polong.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Penggunaan Varietas berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman.Waktu Aplikasi Pupuk Kandang Sapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang tanah. Interaksiantara keduanya berpengaruh tidak nyata pada semua perlakuan. Perlakuan terbaik pada parameter bobot 100 biji terdapat pada perlakuan kontrol(tanpa pemupukan) dan pada penggunaan varietas Bima.

The Time of Application of Cow Manure.The study was conducted on community lands, subdistricts of Mencirim, Binjai in November 2015 to April 2016. This study used a randomized block design, with two treatments, the first treatmentV1 (Varieties Hypoma 2) and V2 (Varieties Bima), and the second treatmentT0(unfertilised), T1 (the time of application of cow manure 1 week before planting), T2 (3 week before planting), and T3 (5 weeks before planting). Parameters measured were plant height, number of primary branches, the amount of interest that is formed, weight of 100 seeds, and the number ginofor not being pods. The results showed use of Varieties real effect on plant height. the time of application of cow manure influential not evident to the growth and production of peanuts. The interaction between the two influential not evident in all treatments. The best treatment in parameter the weight of 100 seeds contained to the control treatment (unfertilised) and the use of varieties of Bima.
