Abstract

The aim of this research was to get selected individual in the F5 generation of soybeans based on the character of high production of Detam-2 crossing with Grobogan. The research was conducted at experimental field of college of Agriculture University of North Sumatra in March - July 2018. The parameters observed were : the days of flowering, the plant height, the number of primary branches, the time of harvested, the number of pods per plant, number of pods per plant, the number seeds per plant, the weight seeds per plant and the weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that there were 23 sample of genotype that have character of high production. Pedigree selection conducted on soybean plant F5 generation each family of the best result of crossed.

 

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan individu terpilih pada generasi F5 kedelai berdasarkan karakter produksi tinggi hasil persilangan Detam-2 dengan Grobogan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan dengan ketinggian tempat ± 32 m diatas permukaan laut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Juli 2018. Parameter yang diamati adalah umur berbunga, tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, umur panen, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman dan bobot 100 biji. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat 23 sampel genotipe yang memiliki produksi tinggi. Seleksi pedigree yang dilakukan pada tanaman kedelai generasi F5 masing-masing famili terbaik dari hasil persilangan.
