Abstract

The productivity of rice plants is influenced by Plant Pest Organisms.This study was aimed to determine the index of absolute density,relative density,absolute frequency and relative frequency of insects in Rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) during vegetative phase and generative phase in Percut, North Sumatra.The study used 3 tools including, insect net,yellow traps and core sampler 6 times during the vegetative and generative phase.Data analysis was performed using Non Factorial Randomized Block Design.The results showed that in the vegetative phase the Absolute Density value of the highest was found in genus Agriocnemis (284),which had Relative Density: 23.39%, Absolute Frequency: 6 and Relative Frequency: 4.20%.Whereas,the lowest Absolute Density value was found in genus: Discladispa,Riptortus,Chilo,Nymphula,Musca,Thomisius,and Tachnidae (1), which had Relative Density: 0.08%,Absolute Frequency: 1 and Relative Frequency 0.70%.In the generative phase the highest Absolute Density value was found in: Leptocorisa (263),which had Relative Density: 19.69%,Absolute Frequency: 6 and Relative Frequency: 4.08%.Whereas,the lowest Absolute Density value was found in: Leptispa,Apis,Trichoma,Eucyrtus,and Conocephalus (1),which had Relative Density: 0.07%, Absolute Frequency: 1 and Relative Frequency: 0.68%.

Produktivitas tanaman padi dipengaruhi oleh Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks kerapatan mutlak,kerapatan relatif,frekuensi mutlak dan frekuensi relatif serangga pada tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) fase vegetatif dan fase generatif di Percut,Sumatera Utara.Penelitian menggunakan 3 alat,yaitu jaring serangga,perangkap kuning dan perangkap tanah sebanyak 6 kali pada fase vegetatif dan generatif.Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Non Faktorial.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada fase vegetatif nilai Kerapatan Mutlak tertinggi terdapat pada genus : Agriocnemis (284),yang memiliki Kerapatan Relatif : 23,39 %,Frekuensi Mutlak : 6 dan Frekuensi Relatif: 4,20%.Sedangkan nilai Kerapatan Mutlak terendah terdapat pada genus: Discladispa,Riptortus,Chilo,Nymphula,Musca, Thomisius,dan Tachnidae (1),yang memiliki Kerapatan Relatif: 0,08%,Frekuensi Mutlak : 1 dan Frekuensi Relatif 0,70%.
