Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan individu berumur genjah dan produksi tinggi hasil persilangan kedelai pada generasi F3. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan pada ketinggian ± 25 mdpl, dari bulan Maret sampai Juli 2016. Parameter yang diamati adalah umur berbunga, umur panen, tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, jumlah polong berisi pertanaman, jumlah biji pertanaman, bobot biji pertanaman, dan bobot 100 biji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa populasi F3 terhadap tetua betina menunjukkan perbedaan sangat nyata terhadap karakter umur berbunga, umur panen, dan bobot 100 biji sementara populasi F3 terhadap tetua jantan menunjukkan perbedaan nyata terhadap karakter bobot 100 biji.

 

The object of the research was to obtain the early ripening soybean and the high yield of F3 soybean genotypes. The research was conducted on the Experimental Field of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara Medan, from March 2016 to July 2016. The parameters observed were: the time of flowering, the time of harvested, the plant height, the number of primary branches, the number of seeded pods, the number of seeds, the weight of seeds per plant, the weight of seeds per plant, the weight of 100 seeds. The result showed that the F3 population based on the female plants significantly affected the time of flowering, and the time of harvested, and the weight of 100 seeds, whereas the F3 population based on the male plants significantly affected the weight of 100 seeds.
