The aim of this study is to determine the effect of length storage periods cuttings and
Growtone concentration to the growth seedling red dragon fruit. Research was conducted in
the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara about ± 25
m sea level rise, which is held in June and September 2016. The study conducted by
randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors, namely, storage period, consisting of without
storage, 10 days, 20 days and Growtone concentration consisting of 0 g/l water , 15 g/l water,
30 g/l water, 45 g/l water which is three replication.The result showed that the length storage
periode did not significantly affect to all of the observation parameters. The Growtone
concentration significant lyaffect on the root wet weight. Interaction between the length
storage period and Growtone concentrationdid not significantly affect to all of the
observation parameters.The seedlings cutting of dragon fruit can be save until 20 days before
get planting by using Growtone consentration 7,75 g/l to increase the growth of dragon fruit.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhlama penyimpanan dan konsentrasi Growtone yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit buah naga merah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian ±25 m dpl, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Junisampai September 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor yaitu , lama penyimpanan yang terdiri dari, tanpa penyimpanan, 10 hari, 20 hari dan konsentrasi Growtone yang terdiri dari 0 g/l air, 15 g/l air, 30 g/l air, 45 g/l air yang diulang tiga kali.Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lama penyimpanan setekberpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan. Konsentrasi Growtone berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter bobot segar akar.Interaksi antara lama penyimpanan setek dengan konsentrasi Growtone berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan. Bibit setek tanaman buah naga dapat disimpan hingga 20 hari sebelum ditanam dengan menggunakan Growtone dengan konsentrasi 7,75 g/l air untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman buah naga.
