This study aims to select soybean (Glycine max L. Merill) that can grow and produce well in F3
generation in saline soils. The study was conducted at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of
Agriculture, University of North Sumatra, Medan with altitude ± 25 m above sea level, which was
conducted in August 2015 to January 2016, using an analysis of path on soybean varieties
Anjasmoro. Parameters measured were the number of productive branch, flowering age, harvesting
age, number of pods, number of empty pods, seed pro duction per plant, and planting seed weight.
The results showed that the plant which had the highest production at the plant number P1 (61) 7.2
g, the slowest was at plant number P3 (84) 0.1 g and 2.6 to 7.2 g were obtained by the selection
boundary. The components that provide the largest direct effect on seed production per plant is the
amount of seed crop (0.96) but the largest indirect effect was the number of pods (0.84).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih tanaman kedelai ( Glycine max L.Merill ) yang dapat tumbuh dan berproduksi secara baik pada generasi F3 di tanah salin. Penelitian dilakukan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan dengan ketinggian tempat ± 25 m dpl, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2015 hingga Januari 2016. Menggunakan analisis sidik lintas pada kedelai varietas Anjasmoro. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah Cabang prOduktif, umur berbunga, umur panen, jumlah polong, jumlah polong hampa, produksi biji per tanaman, dan berat biji pertanama n. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanaman yang memiliki produksi tertinggi yaitu pada nomor tanaman P1(61)7,2 g, yang terendah pada nomor tanaman P3(84) 0,1 g dan diperoleh batas seleksi 2,6-7,2 g. Komponen yang memberikan pengaruh langsung tertinggi terhadap produksi biji per tanaman adalah adalah jumlah biji pertanaman yaitu sebesar 0,96 dan komponen yang memberikan pengaruh tidak langsung yang terbesar adalah langsung jumlah polong sebesar 0,84.
