Pengaruh Pemberian Kompos Sampah Kota Dengan Beberapa Komposisi Sebagai Media Tanam Terhadap Kadar Logam Pb Tanah dan Tanaman Sawi
Effect of Giving Urban Waste Compost as a Growing Media to the Pb Content of Soil and Mustard

The research was aimed to know that accumulation of lead in soil and mustard due to urban waste
compost application. The researh was held in gauze house and analyzed in Balai Pengkajian
Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Laboratory, North Sumatera in April -July 2016. The research used
randomized block design factorial with two treatment factors those are the depth of layers of urban
waste compost with 3 level of treatment ; S1 (upper layer), S2 (middle layer), S3 (bottom layer) and
growing media composition with 5 level of treatment ; M0 (100% soil), M1 (25% compots + 75%
soil), M2 (50% compost and 50% soil), M3 (75% compost + 25% soil), M4 (100% compost) with 3
replications. The result showed that giving25% urban waste compost can increase of production of
mustard, soil pH, soil C-organic, total Pbsoil and Pb in plants and it’s value exceeds the threshold.
The depth of layers of urban waste compost significant effect on total Pb soil and Pb in plants and
it’s value exceeds the threshold. Interaction amount of compost and the depth of layers of urban
waste compost were not significant increased of production of mustard, but significant increased of
soil pH, soil C-organic, total Pbsoil and Pb in plants.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui akumulasi l ogam Pb pada tanah dan tanaman sawi akibat pemberian kompos sampah kota. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa dan dianalisis di laboratorium Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Sumatera Utara pada bulan April - Juli 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu kedalaman lapisan kompos sampah kota di TPA dengan 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu S1 (lapisan atas), S2 (lapisan tengah), S3 (lapisan bawah)dan komposisi media tanam dengan 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu MO (100% tanah), M1 (75% tanah + 25% kompos), M2 (50% tanah + 50% kompos), M3 (25% tanah + 75% kompos), M4 (100% kompos) dengan 3 ulangan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kompos sampah kota pada taraf 25% mampu meningkatkan produksi sawi, pH tanah, C-organik tanah, kadar Pb-total tanah dan Pb tanaman diatas ambang batas yang diperbolehkan. Kedalaman lapisan sumber kompos sampah kota berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar Pb-total tanah dan Pb pada tanaman diatas ambang batas yang diperbolehkan. Interaksi jumlah kompos dan kedalaman lapisan kompos sampah kota tidak berpengaruh nyata dalam peningkatan produki sawi, tetapi berpengaruh nyata dalam peningkatan pH tanah, C-organik tanah, Pb-total tanah dan Pb pada tanaman.
