Abstract

Peningkatan luas perkebunan monokultur kelapa sawit menyebabkan pengaruh buruk pada
ekosistem yang menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas akibat adanya serangan patogen
Ganoderma sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi pemberian Trichoderma spp.
asal rizosfer tanaman kelapa sawit dalam menghambat pertumbuhan Ganoderma sp. secara in vitro.
Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Penyakit Tumbuhan, Program studi Agroekoteknologi,
Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara pada bulan Juni 2015 sampai Juli 2015. Penelitian
menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Non Faktorial dengan delapan perlakuan dan tiga ulangan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketujuh isolat Trichoderma spp. berpotensi sebagai agens
antagonis yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan Ganoderma sp. secara in vitro.

 

The effect of monocultural palm oil plantation can increase of Ganoderma sp. which lead to
decrease oil palm productivity. This research was study to determine Trichoderma spp. from oil
palm rizosphere as biological agent to inhibited the growth of Ganoderma sp. in vitro. This research
conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Pathology, Program Agroecotechnology studies, Agricultural
Faculty, University of Sumatera Utara in June 2015 until July 2015 using randomized with eight
treatments and three replications. The results showed that seven isolates Trichoderma spp. can
inhibited the growth of Ganoderma sp in vitro and potential as antagonist agent.
