Rubber (Hevea brasiliensisMuell. Arg) is one of the superior plantation commodities that has a
huge potential in Indonesia. Rubber development is centered on the areas with rainfall 2500-4000
mm / year. In that area the rubber faces a lot of land competition issues and also the disease that
need to maximize the potential of the low annual rainfall area. This research was conducted on
citizen plantations in Aek Godang village, Sihapas Hulu, North Padang Lawas , on March-April
2016, aimed to test the influence of giving mycorrhiza to Osmoregulation PB260 clone rubber
seedlings on lands with drought stress that has given an organic matter. This research using random
sampling in non-factorial, with mycorrhiza treatment with M symbol that consists of 3 levels ; M0 =
without mycorrhiza, M1 = Acaulospora 100g / plant,M2 = Glomus + Acaulospora (1: 1) 100g /
plant, with each level of treatment has 9 reiteration. The Variables observed were consist of leaf
water potential, osmotic pressure and turgor pressure. The results showed that the distribution of
mycorrhiza has a significant effect on the improvement of leaf water potential, but it has no a
significant effect on the improvement of turgor pressure of rubber plant.
Karet (Hevea brasiliensisMuell. Arg) merupakan salah satu komoditas perkebunan unggulan yang memiliki potensi yang sangat besar di Indonesia. Pengembangan karet berpusat pada daerah dengan curah hujan 2500-4000 mm/tahun.Pada daearah tersebut karet banyak dihadapkan pada masalah persaingan lahan dan banyaknya serangan penyakit sehingga perlu memaksimalkan potensi daerah bercurah hujan rendah. Namun daerah tersebut juga memiliki masalahnya tersendiri terutama ketersediaan air, Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan pemberian Mikoriza dan bahan organik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tanaman menghindari kekeringan.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di perkebunan milik warga di Desa Aek Godang, Kecamatan Hulu Sihapas, KabupatenPadang Lawas Utara, Sumaterapada bulan MaretApril 2016, bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemberian mikoriza terhadap Osmoregulasi bibit karet klon PB260 pada lahan dengan cekaman kekeringan yang telah diberi bahan organik.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Non-faktorial dengan perlakuan mikoriza dengan simbol M yang terdiri dari 3 taraf; M0= tanpa mikoriza, M1= Acaulospora 100g/tanaman, M2= Glomus+Acaulospora (1:1)100g/tanaman, dengan setiap taraf perlakuan terdapat 9 Ulangan. Variabel yang diamati terdiri atas potensial air daun, tekanan osmosis, dan tekanan turgor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian mikoriza memberikan pengaruh JurnalAgroekoteknologi FP USU E-ISSN No. 2337- 6597 Vol.6.No.1, Januari 2018 (22): 153- 157 154 nyata terhadap peningkatkan potensialair daun namun tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadappeningkatan tekanan turgor tanaman karet.
