Vitamin B1 is a vitamin that has a very important role for plants. The application of vitamin B1 (thiamin) is expected to increase growth and yield of soybean in palm oil plantation area. This research aims to determine the effect of vitamin B1 application on the growth and yield of several soybean varieties in palm oil plantation areas. The research was carried out in oil palm plantations on Jl. Berdikari, Padang Bulan, Medan City, North Sumatra with an altitude of ± 33 m above sea level, in February 2025 - May 2025. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors and 4 replications. The first factor is soybean varieties consisting of Anjasmoro, Dena 1, Dena 2, and the second factor is vitamin B1 treatment when soaking the seeds for 6 hours consisting of vitamin B1 solution (1%) and control (0%). The observation variables included plant height, stem diameter, leaf area, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods, pod weight, seed weight, root weight and shoot weight. The results showed that application vitamin B1 (1%) when soaking the seeds had no significant effect on all observed variables. Varietal factors have a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, leaf area and harvest age. The Dena 2 soybean plant has larger leaves and stem diameter than the Anjasmoro, and a longer harvest time. The Dena 1 soybean plants were taller than the Anjasmoro and Dena 2 and some Dena 1 plants experienced etiolation under oil palm plants, but had a faster harvest time
