Rice requires nitrogen for growth and development. Generally, the source of the nitrogen used is urea, which recently has the effect of uncontrolled use cause damage of product and environment. This research studied the effect of two sources of nitrogen (urea and Azolla) on red rice cultivation, using non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 treatments, were: Control, 100 % Urea 100 % Azolla, 50 % Urea + 50 % Azolla. The result showed that nitrogen fertilizer that sources from Urea 100% was significant on plant height, root dry weight, shoot dry weight, number of tillers, number of panicles, production per plot compared of (100% Azolla) and (50% Urea + 50% Azolla).
