Author Fees

To support the costs of high-quality editorial processes, peer review management, online hosting, long-term archiving, and open access dissemination, Journal of Surgical Medicine and Biomedical Engineering applies an Article Publication Charge (APC) to accepted manuscripts is zero. 

There are currently no APCs charged in order to publish in this journal. Article publication is supported by the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara., plus VAT or other local taxes where applicable in your country. There is no submission charge.

Publication is currently free of charge thanks to the support of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara. An APC will not apply to any new submissions. There is no submission charge.
