Publication Ethics
Ethics in publishing a scientific article must be upheld to ensure the quality of research and contribute to science and technology. Dinamis is a peer-reviewed electronic journal. The statement below describes the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in Dinamis.
Scientific Work / Article Assessment
The Dinamis Editor is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive such decisions. The decision of the article that is accepted for publication takes into account the results of the peer review while keeping the names of the reviewers of the article confidential. Editors may be guided by the discretion of the journal's editorial board and limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editors may consult other editors or reviewers in making this decision.
Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, then these have been properly cited or cited.
Repeated submissions and publications
Scientific works / articles that will be published in Dynamic journals may not send manuscripts to other publishers simultaneously with the same content and republish published papers repeatedly. Submitting and republishing the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is behavior that violates ethical standards and is unacceptable.
Citation Manipulation
Authors who submit draft articles/scientific works are prohibited from submitting citations indicated to increase the number of citations from the author personally, where the subject being cited is irrelevant to the article. Authors must include citation sources in accordance with citations taken from other article sources.
Fabrication and Falsification
Any author who will publish articles / scientific works in the Dinamis journal is not allowed to reproduce the data, manipulate the results and images. All data displayed must reflect originality.
List of Authors and Acknowledgments
Authors should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, conduct, or interpretation of the reported study. Everyone who has made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.
Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they must be recognized or listed as contributors. The first author/correspondent must ensure that all co-authors are appropriate.
Conflict of interest
All authors who will publish scientific articles/works in dynamic journals must disclose in their manuscript any conflicts of interest such as financial or other substantive sources must be clearly disclosed.
Penalty
All provisions relating to the ethics of publication in Dynamic journals must be complied with by the authors who will publish the results of scientific works/articles, violations of these provisions can result in; Rejection of draft articles submitted by authors to Dinamis.
Journal of Publication Ethics Guidelines
The peer-reviewed articles in Dinamis are an important foundation in the development of a coherent and respected knowledge network. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree on standards of ethical behavior that are expected for all parties involved in the act of publishing: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers and the public.
The University of North Sumatra as the publisher of the Dinamis takes the task of maintaining all stages of publishing very seriously and we are aware of our ethics and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, the Bureau of Research, Community Service, and Cooperation of the University of North Sumatra, the Faculty of Engineering and the Editorial Board will assist in communication with other journals and/or publishers if this is useful and necessary.

Fair game
An editor evaluates manuscripts at all times for their intellectual content regardless of the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.
Confidentiality
Editors and any editorial staff may not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the respective authors, reviewers, prospective reviewers, other editorial advisors and publishers, as appropriate.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
Unpublished material disclosed in a submitted manuscript may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

Reviewer's Task
Editorial Decision Contribution
Peer reviews assist editors in making editorial decisions and through editorial communication with authors can also assist authors in improving papers.
Accuracy
Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that immediate review is not possible, must notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.
Confidentiality
Any manuscript received for review must be treated as a confidential document. They may not be shown or discussed with others except as permitted by the editor.
Review of the Objectivity Standards must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees must express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Source Acknowledgment
Reviewers should identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument has been previously reported must be accompanied by a relevant citation. Reviewers should also call the editor's attention any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration and other published papers of which they have personal knowledge.
Disclosures and Conflicts of Interest
Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with the authors, companies, or institutions with which the papers are related.

Writer's Task
Reporting standards
Authors of the original research report must present an accurate account of the work done as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be represented accurately on paper. A paper must contain sufficient detail and references to allow others to replicate the work. Statements that are deceptive or intentionally inaccurate are unethical and unacceptable behavior.
Data Access and Storage
Authors are required to provide raw data in connection with the paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such data (consistent with the ALPSP-STM Statement on Data and Databases), if possible, and should under no circumstances be prepared to retain such data. for a reasonable time after publication.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, then these have been properly cited or cited.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publications
An author may not generally publish a manuscript describing essentially the same research in more than one major journal or publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
Source Acknowledgment
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others should always be given. Authors should cite publications that were influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
Author of Works
Writing should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, conduct, or interpretation of the reported study. Everyone who has made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they must be recognized or listed as contributors. Correspondence authors must ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included in the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have approved its submission for publication.
Human or Animal Hazards and Subjects
If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must identify them clearly in the manuscript.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that may be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.
Fundamental errors in published works
When an author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in his published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
