Data Science: Journal of Computing and Applied Informatics (JoCAI) is an international peer-reviewed biannual journal published by TALENTA Publisher at Universitas Sumatera Utara. Managed by the Center for Excellence for Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) and the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Master's Program within the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, the journal focuses on disseminating high-quality research in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Data Science. JoCAI publishes state-of-the-art papers encompassing fundamental theory, experiments, simulations, and applications, emphasizing systematic methodologies, comprehensive literature reviews, in-depth discussions, and concise conclusions. Adhering to an open-access policy, all published articles are freely available online without subscription fees. Each issue contains five research articles, and the journal is indexed by Indonesian Publication Index (Garuda Portal), One Search Perpustakaan Nasional, Google Scholar, PKP Indexing, and BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine). Notably, JoCAI has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology as SINTA 2.
