Direct Marketing

The Data Science: Journal of Computing and Applied Informatics (JoCAI) maintains a strict policy regarding direct marketing activities to ensure professionalism, transparency, and adherence to international publishing standards.

Direct marketing, including but not limited to calls for papers, reviewer or editorial board invitations, announcements of new issues, and related academic communications, shall be conducted in a manner that is appropriate, well-targeted, and unobtrusive. Communications are addressed only to individuals or institutions with a demonstrated academic or professional relevance to the scope of JoCAI.

All information distributed on behalf of the journal, including details on article processing charges (APC), peer review processes, indexing status, or publication schedules, must be accurate, truthful, and not misleading. The frequency of such communications will be carefully limited so as not to inconvenience recipients, and a clear option to decline or unsubscribe from further messages will always be provided.

JoCAI affirms that all marketing practices comply with ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and uphold the highest standards of integrity in scholarly publishing.
