Journal History
The Journal of Technomaterial Physics (JoTP) was established in 2019 as a national peer-reviewed journal with the mission of advancing knowledge in the fields of physics and related disciplines. Published biannually in February and August, JoTP consistently features high-quality research articles in each issue and adopts a full open-access policy with no article processing charges. JoTP publishes articles on a rolling basis within each issue period, meaning that once an article has successfully completed the review and editing process, it may be published in the current issue regardless of the calendar date, provided the issue remains open. This approach, supported by a fast and efficient peer-review process, ensures the timely dissemination of original and impactful research.
Since 2021, JoTP has been officially accredited at SINTA 4, reflecting its compliance with national academic publishing standards. To further enhance article readability, consistency, and alignment with international publishing standards, JoTP implemented a revised manuscript template starting from Volume 5 (2023). Building upon these improvements, JoTP successfully achieved SINTA 3 accreditation in 2025, demonstrating its continued commitment to quality, editorial rigor, and scholarly impact.
Over the years, JoTP has expanded its scope to cover a broad range of topics, including Theoretical Physics, Applied Physics, Material Physics, Computational Physics and Machine Learning, Experimental Physics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Biophysics and Medical Physics, Geophysics, Energy and Energy Conversion, Advanced Materials (including photonics, nanomaterials, and nanotechnology), Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and Metrology.
