Peer Review Process
The Journal of Technomaterial Physics (JoTP) implements a double-blind peer review system, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process to ensure impartial and objective evaluation. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening (pre-review) by the editorial team to assess their alignment with the journal’s focus and scope and to identify any major methodological or ethical issues.
Manuscripts that pass this preliminary evaluation are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin before being sent anonymously to at least two independent reviewers. The reviewers’ comments and recommendations are then communicated to the authors to facilitate necessary revisions and responses.
The revised manuscript is subsequently discussed in an editorial board meeting for final evaluation. The decision regarding the manuscript’s suitability for publication is then communicated to the corresponding author.
The average review processing time for submitted manuscripts is approximately 10 weeks, calculated from the date of submission (Received) to the date of acceptance (Accepted).
