This issue of the Asian Australasian Neuro and Health Science Journal presents five timely contributions spanning pediatric neurovascular disease, posterior fossa trauma, functional neurosurgery, traumatic brain injury biomarkers, and trigeminal neuralgia intervention. The articles include case-based discussions on pediatric intracranial arteriovenous malformations and cerebellar hematoma after posterior cranial fossa trauma, alongside reviews and original research addressing the optimal timing of surgical treatment in Parkinson’s disease, circulating microRNA as a prognostic biomarker in traumatic brain injury, and predictors of percutaneous radio-frequency rhizotomy outcomes for trigeminal neuralgia.
