About the Journal

Dinamis, is an electronic journal in the field of mechanical engineering managed by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Sumatera Utara and published by Talenta Publisher (University of Sumatera Utara). This journal is not limited to scientific publications produced by students and lecturers of the University of Sumatera Utara, but is also open to students, lecturers and researchers from other institutions. From 2014 to 2019, this journal has been published 4 times a year. However, since 2020, this journal regularly publishes scientific publications 2 times a year in June and December. This is done in order to increase the selectivity of incoming articles in order to maintain the quality of scientific publications in this journal.

Since Vol. 9, No. 1 of 2021, Dinamis USU moved to the https://talenta.usu.ac.id/dinamis/ page which was facilitated by Talenta Publisher, University of Sumatera Utara, Medan, in order to improve the governance of scientific publications in the Open Journal System (OJS). Dinamis USU strives to be a national periodical, accredited, or international publication that has a good reputation through print and online publications.

USU's Journal of Mechanical Engineering has been accredited by the National Journal Accreditation Board (ARJUNA) which is managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia with Class Four (Sinta 4) from 2020 to 2024 according to Decree No. .204/E/KPT/2022, October 3, 2022, Concerning Scientific Journal Accreditation Ranking Period II, 2022.
