Journal of Sumatera Sociological Indicators (JSSI)

Journal of Sumatera Sociological Indicators (JSSI) is a discussion medium for researchers, theorists, and practitioners in the field of sociology (May and November) published by TALENTA Publisher, Universitas Sumatera Utara and managed by Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara. As the name implies, is expected to be an indicator of the development of public theory and policy in Indonesia in general. The implementing organization in this journal involves members of the Sociology professional association throughout Indonesia. Even though this journal has just been published, the administrators will try to develop this journal to achieve an international or national reputation. This journal is expected to be a medium for public discourse in the midst of the fading, even the death of expertise. Cooperation and collaboration between sociology academics, in particular, and the field of social sciences in general is highly anticipated and expected. As our commitment to the advancement of science and technology, the Journal of Sumatera Sociological Indicators follows the open access policy that allows the published articles freely available online without any subscription.

Journal of Sumatera Sociological Indicators (JSSI) is a biannual journal (May and November) published by TALENTA Publisher, Universitas Sumatera Utara, focusing on sociology research, theory, and public policy in Indonesia. Managed by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, it promotes collaboration among sociologists and social science scholars. JSSI follows an open-access policy, providing free online access to its articles.
