Aims and Scope

Responding to the challenges of development in Sumatera through a sociological lens, the Journal of Sumatera Sociological Indicators (JSSI) publishes articles and research reports that not only enrich the treasures of science but also offer applicable insights. The journal opens the door for academics to share empirical research findings, robust theoretical frameworks, and original analyses in three areas of sociology relevant to the times: Sociology of Virtual Societies, Sociology of the Environment, and Sociology of Education.
