Template

Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to SMJ Journal for writing format and style. (Please Download Template and use as template for initial manuscript submission). This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guideline to authors will not be processed.

NOTED: Important Update Regarding Manuscript Submission Metadata

To all authors and contributors,

Please be advised of an important update to our manuscript submission process for the SUMEJ OJS system.

Please note new metadata submission rules:

1. Reference Requirement: When completing the submission metadata, list only 1 (one) reference in the designated field. This is a system requirement to streamline the initial processing. Your complete and full reference list must be included within the main manuscript file.

2. Author Information: You must enter the complete data for all contributing authors in the metadata section. Please ensure all author names, affiliations, and contact details (as applicable) are accurately provided during submission.

This ensures smooth processing. Thank you.

Announcement

Starting January 1, 2024, Sumatera Medical Journal has officially updated its article template to enhance the quality of publications.
The new template is mandatory for all manuscripts submitted from 2024 onwards.
