Copyright Transfer
Authors submitting manuscripts to the International Journal Linguistics of Sumatra and Malay (IJLSM) agree that, if the article is accepted for publication, the copyright of the article will be transferred to TALENTA Publisher, Universitas Sumatera Utara, as the publisher of the journal.
This transfer ensures the journal’s ability to:
- Publish and distribute the article in various forms (print, electronic, and other media).
- Enforce proper attribution and protect against misuse.
- Preserve the work in long-term archives.

Despite the copyright transfer, the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) license ensures that authors and the public retain all reuse rights under the license terms. The publisher does not impose additional restrictions beyond those specified in CC BY-SA 4.0.
You are free to:
- Share – Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt – Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose (including commercial use).
Under these terms:
1. Attribution – You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
2. ShareAlike – If you remix or modify the content, you must distribute your contributions under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
