History
Committed to continuous improvement, the Indonesian Journal of Agricultural Research (InJAR) has undergone several developments since its first publication in March 2018.
- InJAR was initially published with 10 articles per issue. Starting from March 2019 (Vol. 2, No. 1), the number of articles was reduced to 7 per issue to enhance the quality of the selection process.
- Since May 2020, InJAR is listed in the Indonesian national journal indexing system (ARJUNA–RISTEKBRIN) with a SINTA 4 accreditation.
- In June 2020, the editorial team strengthened its ranks by appointing external experts as section editors and expanding the pool of peer reviewers.
- Since July 2020, InJAR has established a partnership with the Agricultural Economist Association (Perhimpunan Ekonomi Pertanian Indonesia – PERHEPI) to strengthen academic networks. The PERHEPI logo has since been included on the journal cover alongside the USU and Talenta logos.
- Effective from Volume 5, No. 2 (2022), InJAR has been officially accredited with a SINTA 2 ranking, based on the Decree of the Director General of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, dated March 21, 2025.
