Indonesian Journal of Agricultural Research (InJAR) is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal published by TALENTA (Universitas Sumatera Utara's Journals Publisher) and managed by Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara. It is based on DIKTI accreditation standard and covers all aspects of agricultural researches including Animal Science and Fisheries, Agribusiness, Agricultural Technology, and Agriculture and Bioscience. Manuscripts with either basic, applied, and advance studies are accepted. Each of the manuscripts need to be completed with well design method and systematic review on previous works. This journal aims to provide academic insights for policy makers, as well as valuable references for further studies. All manuscripts are double-blind refereed before acceptance. |

InJAR is published in March, July, and November. Up until Vol. 1 No.3 (2018), each publication contains 10 (ten) research articles which will be published online. However, this was changed to 7 (seven) articles since Vol. 2 No.1 (2019). These articles are indexed by DOAJ, Sinta (S2), CABI, Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, PKP Indexing, and BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine). InJAR strives to be a means of periodic, accredited, national scientific publications or reputable international publications through printed and online publications. |

Since October 2025, the Indonesian Journal of Agriculture Studies has submitted the change to DOAJ from “no publication fee” to Article Processing Charge” starting March 2026 edition. The request was re-submitted in February 2026, and has been under-reviewed.
