History Journal

In 2024, Dentika : Dental Journal was published with Volume 27 no 1 (July) 2024 which started with (p-ISSN: 1693-671x), then became (e-issn 2615-854x). Published twice per volume (every July and December). Each publication contains 10 (ten) articles published by Talenta publisher and managed by the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara.

Dentika : Dental Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that provides an official source of scientific information for researchers and teachers in the academic world, research institutions, educational institutions. , and government agencies.

We publish original research papers, case studies and review articles that focus on Dentistry which consists of 11 fields as follows: Conservative Dentistry, Dental Forensics. Dental Materials and Technology, Dental Public Health and Preventive Dentistry, Dental Radiology, Dental Surgery, Oral Biology, Oral Medicine, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics and Prosthodontics. All papers were peer reviewed by at least two reviewers.

Accredited with Sinta 2 (2016-2018), Sinta 3 (2019-2021) Sinta 4 (2022-present).
