Archiving

The Journal of Civil Engineering and Public Infrastructure Management (JCE-PIM), published by TALENTA Publisher, Universitas Sumatera Utara, is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles.

To achieve this, JCE-PIM utilizes a digital archiving system that allows the journal’s content to be securely stored and permanently accessible, even in the event of technical failure or loss of data on the primary platform.

JCE-PIM participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PN) to preserve published content through the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) systems. These archiving services ensure that the digital content remains authentic, unaltered, and available for future academic use.

All published articles are also archived in multiple repositories, including:

• TALENTA Publisher institutional repository at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
• National databases that collaborate with TALENTA Publisher.
• Author self-archiving, which allows authors to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional or subject-based repositories with full citation to the journal.

Through this archiving policy, JCE-PIM guarantees continuous access to its published materials and contributes to the global preservation of scientific knowledge in the fields of civil engineering, infrastructure management, and sustainable development.
