⬇ Download Manuscript Template (Word)
The manuscript must be prepared using standard fonts and SI units for measurements. Authors should avoid unnecessary abbreviations and define non-standard terms or symbols when first introduced. The margins and layout of the official manuscript template must not be modified.
Manuscript Title
The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the main content of the research. Uncommon abbreviations should be avoided. The title must follow the capitalization and formatting provided in the official JOPT manuscript template.
Author Names and Affiliations
Authors' full names must be provided without academic degrees. Each author's institutional affiliation should include the department or research unit, faculty or institution, city, postal code, and country, as applicable. The corresponding author must be clearly identified and provide an active email address.
Abstract
The abstract must be written in Times New Roman, 10 pt, and must not exceed 250 words. It should provide a concise and self-contained summary of the research background, objectives, methods, principal findings, and conclusions or research novelty. Citations, uncommon abbreviations, and unnecessary technical details should be avoided.
Keywords
Authors must provide a maximum of five keywords or key phrases that accurately represent the manuscript's content. Keywords must be arranged in alphabetical order and separated by commas (,).
The manuscript should follow the scientific article structure provided in the official JOPT template.
1. Introduction
The Introduction must present the research background, relevant scientific literature, current state of knowledge, and the research problem. Authors should critically discuss previous studies to identify research gaps and explain the scientific significance of the proposed research. The novelty and objectives of the study should be clearly stated at the end of the Introduction.
2. Method
The Method section must clearly describe the research design, location and period of study when applicable, materials, experimental procedures, sampling techniques, measured variables, and methods of data analysis. Statistical methods and analytical models should be explained where relevant. Sufficient methodological detail must be provided to allow the research to be evaluated and reproduced. Previously published methods should be appropriately cited, and modifications should be clearly described.
3. Result and Discussion
The Results and Discussion section must present research findings clearly and systematically, supported by appropriate data, tables, and figures. The discussion should provide scientific interpretations of the findings, explain their relevance to the research objectives, and compare the results with relevant previous studies. Authors should highlight significant findings, similarities or differences with earlier research, and the scientific contribution of the study. The discussion must go beyond merely repeating the results.
4. Conclusion
The Conclusion must directly address the research objectives and summarize the principal scientific findings. It should emphasize the contribution and implications of the research without simply repeating the Abstract or listing experimental results. Recommendations for future research may be included where relevant.
5. Acknowledgements
Authors should acknowledge financial support, research grants, institutional assistance, and individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship. Funding sources should be identified where applicable.
6. Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that could influence, or reasonably be perceived as influencing, the research or its interpretation. If no conflicts of interest exist, authors should provide an appropriate declaration.
Declaration of Generative AI Use
Authors must include a declaration concerning the use or non-use of generative artificial intelligence and AI-assisted technologies in accordance with Section 7 of these guidelines.
References
All references must follow APA Style, Seventh Edition, and comply with the journal's reference requirements described in Section 6.
Tables
All tables must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals (Table 1, Table 2, etc.). Each table must have a descriptive caption placed above the table and aligned to the left. Only horizontal lines should be used to distinguish column headings and table boundaries. Tables must be embedded in the manuscript and placed close to their first citation.
Figures
All photographs, graphs, diagrams, and illustrations must be referred to as figures and numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals. Figures must be of sufficient quality, preferably at a resolution of 300 dpi. Figure captions must be placed below the illustrations, following the 8 pt formatting specified in the manuscript template. Figures must be embedded in the manuscript and positioned as close as possible to their first reference in the text.
Equations
Equations must be prepared using Microsoft Equation Editor, MathType, or an appropriate equation editor. Equations referred to in the manuscript must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals in parentheses and aligned to the right.
Section Headings and General Formatting
Main section headings must be numbered consecutively, left-aligned, bold, and formatted in 11 pt. Subsection headings should use consecutive numbering (1.1, 1.2, etc.) and follow the style provided in the template. Authors must maintain consistent formatting and use SI units for scientific measurements.
JOPT adopts the American Psychological Association (APA) Style, Seventh Edition, for citations and reference list formatting. In-text citations must follow the author-date system. References must be accurate, complete, and relevant to the research topic.
