Jurnal Online Pertanian Tropik

Jurnal Online Pertanian Tropik (JOPT) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by TALENTA Publisher, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, and independently managed by its editorial board. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality original research articles and scientific reviews in tropical agricultural sciences. JOPT accepts manuscripts exclusively in English and publishes three issues annually, in April, August, and December.

Each issue contains research articles published online and made freely accessible to readers. The journal's publications are indexed or discoverable through SINTA, GARUDA, Google Scholar, and WorldCat. JOPT is committed to disseminating high-quality scientific research and advancing tropical agricultural sciences at national and international levels.

The aims and scope of Jurnal Online Pertanian Tropik (JOPT) are to facilitate the publication and exchange of scientific knowledge in tropical agricultural sciences. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and plagiarism assessment, followed by a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two qualified reviewers to ensure scientific quality, originality, and academic integrity. JOPT welcomes original research articles and scientific reviews related to tropical agriculture, including Soil Science and Land Resources, Agronomy and Crop Science, Plant Breeding and Biotechnology, Plant Protection, Agricultural Microbiology, Agroecology, Horticulture, Agricultural Technology, Sustainable Agriculture, and other interdisciplinary studies relevant to tropical agricultural systems.
